*FEELER* 03 MCS/JCW Value

Ok I have an 03 MCS/JCW that I bought in October 03, in December 03 I had the JCW kit installed, and in November 04 I had the 05/210 hp upgrade installed. the car is a pure silver with the sport & premium packages, and leather.
Here is the list from the window sticker.
Pure silver metalic
black panther profile leather
cup holder
anthricate trim
combo # 1 premium:
-multifunction steering wheel with cruise control & audicontrols
duel pane panoramic sunroof
automatic air conditioning,
on board computer
Combo # 2 Sport:
dynamic stability control
sport seats with lumbar
front fog lamps
rear spoiler
17" alloy wheels w 205/45/17 performance runflat tires
xenon headlamps with washers
roof in body color
rain sensing windshield wipers
auto dimming rear view mirror
harmon kardon sound system

my mods are of coarse the JCW kit and 210hp upgrade
Phantom grip LSD with spring tuning kit installed
tinted windows
enkei RPF1 17"x7 rims @ 15lbs each with Kumho mx's in 225-45-17
the car is in very good condition with 1 slight door ding in the passenger rear quarter, the usual nicks in the front bumper cover from bugs and gravel.
the car has 42k miles on it.
What would be a reasonable price for a car like this? There is not much history on the JCW cars to determine the selling price.
Kelly blue book, and NADA range from 17.5k to 20 k for a MCS in good to exellent condition. The JCW kit and upgrade were around 7700 installed.
the LSD was $300, I did the install in my garage 16 hours (whew)
at 50 cents on the dollar that would equal over 4k added to the MCS price.
Would 22k-24 k be a realistic range?
Looking forward to any help at setting a value on my car,

$22k sounds about right, I should know The only reason I put $22k on there and not $24 as an opinion is that being bought in 10/03, and not quite being 2 years old yet...it's a tad above average on the mileage, but that won't hurt it's performance. Not everyone would know that if they weren't familiar with MINI's (ie, people buying as a first MINI, or others from eBay, etc..)

Sounds like a nice JCW though...good luck if you decide to sell it, you shouldn't have much of a problem between here, eBay, and AutoTrader

Dave.

You could fetch far more (1-2K) on the west coast. They are more expensive out here, for some reason.

We flew to Ohio to get ours lightly used, and when we brought it back, the local MINI dealer told us they could sell it for 5 grand more, right there...

I then have had at least one unsolicited offer to buy our car for quite a bit more than we paid for it. I thought we got a fair deal at the time (9 months ago) bu for west coast price standards, we got a great deal.

Yeah the milage is a little high my new job is 70 miles each way but it is all expressway except for about 8 miles each way. The job only lasts about 5 more months. But there isnt a better car to make the drive in

I enjoy driving my car as much today as I did the first day.
I am looking at trading / selling mine and getting a "basic" MCS with the limmited slip fog lights, HK,& MFSW. to autox in G stock the JCW in ASP just isnt fair at the upper level events I will sorely miss the hard charging top end of the JCW but I also want to see if I can be competitive at the divisional level in stock classes.
