It had 13.5 K on it. It was a steal off a used car lot of a non-MINI dealer, who had it for 5 months, and wanted to get rid of it, so I think you are a little high. $21.5 to $22K is about right. It really is all about the price.

Since depreciation is mostly eaten the first year on MINI's you can find 02s, 03s, and 04's on autotrader, cars.com, and eBay for all near the same price. You need to give people an incentive not to buy new.

 

Last month I saw a CR MCS and BRG MCS in a used car lot.. CR was gone in days.. the BRG take Months to move. But I think you can get such a deal since not much people can take the BRG.

SC Chili Cooper. be patient. I also go thru the same situation when I try to sell my WRX Wagon. Car max give me a very low ball trade in price, and I figured that I probably can sell it for that price privatly in the next year. So I put ad on Auto trader, Cars.com, local newspaper. Although it take me 6 month to get it away, I can managed to get a reasonable (KBB) price, rather than that rip off trade in price.
