WTB: MINI armrest

Looking to buy the former "official" MINI armrest that was part of the recent group buy thru Alex.

Is this the arm rest you are refering to? I am in Florida and will ship if you are interested. I had it in the car about two months. It was istalled by the dealer. I just found it to get in the way of my son getting into the back seat and I never used it for my arm.

Nope. He's referring to the one released in Europe for a limited time. Yours is the MINI FINI model. The previous "official" armrest was wider, shorter, and the top flipped up revealing a storage area.

I was able to get one of "official" ones through Alex. I love it and wouldn't part with it. These may be a little hard to find, since most of the owners LOVE them.

Sorry, it isn't. Koopah answered this for me.
Since they may be hard to come by, are they still available thru the UK?

I was supposedly able to order one through my dealer, who ordered it from Germany. I had to prepay the order, but have not received it yet (been about 10 days). There is a part number out there, alhtough I can't seem to locate it at this time. Do a search on Mini2, I think that is where I found it, and give your dealer a call. I was charged $204+ tax. Don't know how that compares to the group buy, but it was cheaper than the last two I've seen on Ebay at $400 & $300.

Good luck, I hope you find it.

Have you talked to your dealer?

I followed your lead and have an order in place with my nearest dealer.
Thanks.

He means the one from Germany. This one:

It's sturdy, has plenty of storage, and it is positioned just right for me to shift while resting my elbow. I like it a lot.

Hi,

I actually found mine on EBAY about 3 months ago. Apparently this guy had few of them. When I checked his prior deals, he had sold 5 of them to other Mini owners before me. I paid $195.

You wouldn't happen to know the guys email, or if he still has any. My dealer just became a NOGO. He can't get it.
