I am selling my Alta intake...it has about 1700 miles on it and with the blue silicone hose. It is in very good condition. I'm asking $170 w/shipping. I will post pics this weekend.

I want something a little less flashy...Dinan or maybe the M7...But nothing is wrong with it, just kind of the sleeper type guy..

I know what you mean about sleeper, I feel the same way.
I am not interested in purchasing the Alta for those reasons, just wanted to hear your reasons. I like the sleeper approach becasue I am always worried about getting the car smogged. On the surface the Dinan have features I am interested. Next month I’ll be getting a 15% reduction pulley installed and was thinking of changing the intake soon thereafter.

What does "sleeper approach" mean... and what does it mean to have your car "smogged"? I only ask this because I am considering getting an Alta intake...
