Just got off the phone from dave at mini of scottsdale (480-538-6472) and he told me about some MCS that just came off the truck, only reason I'm posting this is none of them met exactly what I was looking for but I'm sure one of you wants these.

BRG/W-1,2, cloth

BRG/BRG -1,2,3, park distance, panther leather

IB/IB - 1,2,heated seats, park distance, lapis leather

Black/Black- 1,2,3,park distance, anthracite interior, black leather. (shame it doesn't have a white top, I would of flown out this weekend for it.)

I have no affiliation to mini of scottsdale,in fact I live out here in cali, but I found them on my quest for a mini out of state. Tell dave, blake says hello. I know this probably belongs in the marketplace section, but I this forum gets seen by more people, and there not my cars for sale, just wanted to give you guys a heads up. Enjoy

 

Black/Black w/ 1,2,3... - in scottsdale - that's one of the last places I would have thought to look for a cold weather package!

Thanks for this info - I am looking for a black/black, but in TX I need a cold weather package like I need a hole in the head.

 

Funny that you mention texas, I grew up in texas, but right now I am finishing school in california. When dave told me he had an all black MCS I almost jumped on it, but realizing that there is a good chance that I will move back to texas within the next 3 yrs, I knew I would hate myself during the summer. But I would have to say it would look pimp as hell. Instead I bought a mini from mini of the hamptons and it will be delivered to dallas in about 2 weeks. You should check them out, they are extremly nice, and very helpful, and by the way they charge msrp. I'm having to pay about $800 to get it shipped to dallas, but still beats the $4-6k markups here in cali. If it wasn't the winter I would of flown out there and made a roadtrip out of it, but too many bad experiences driving cross country in winter storms. Let me know if you want to meet up in dallas when I come back for christmas break. I'll be coming in around the 17th. Hope all is well, best of luck with the MCS.

I'll check out the yahoo group. I think I signed on to it a while back ago when it was just starting out. When I told my parents that I bought a mini, thier response was, what the hell is a mini, and then after I explained, they responded by, then why haven't we seen any? So I have been expecting quite a large amount of attention. Thankfully one of my first mods is to tint it. I'm having earmark put formula one on it, and then I am getting my trusty valentine one hardwired. I'll keep you posted as it gets closer towards when I am coming home. I think I get in on the 17th, and by then my car should be there (thank god)
