Talked to Charlie this morning. We still need a couple of more orders.
Come on NAM'ers, if you're thinking about thinking about any camber plates, this is a deal that shouldn't be passed up. The quality of the RDR plates is better than all of the less expensive plates and most of the more expensive. And a hundred bucks off list makes them even more attractive.
PM Pfunk ASAP.

As of today (Mon), Charlie received only 6 orders. We have 5 days to get 4 more. Come on people! I know it is not the cheapest sets you can buy but I think it is the best. I will try my best to get more people interested in but I have had no response from MINI2 site.I need you guys to spread the words!

Good news guys. I spoke to Charlie today and even though he has only 8 orders so far, he will honor the deal for us! He is amazingly nice guy! He will have to bulid few more but he will start shipping pretty soon. For those of you came through with the order, thank you very much. We know we got an amazing deal for the best Camber Plates out there. BTW, this group buy will be open until Friday 10th as I promised so PM me if you want to get in!

One thing to remember is it is easiest to select one alignment for autocross and leave it there for street use than to switch back and forth with two alignment settings just because the toe settings get changed when you adjust front camber. Front negative camber should be about one degree more negative than rear camber.
Have fun and be sure to thank Charlie and RDR.

I paid full price two months ago and the improved front negative camber is quite useful for autocross/ track and still very drivable for daily use on the street. Front tire wear is fine for me.

I went with -
front camber -2.2 degrees
front toe 1/16" out
rear camber -1.2 degrees
rear toe 1/16" in
I have H-sport springs, madness rear swaybar on firmest, H-sport lower rear control arms, and BMP front tower strut brace (Works fine with RDR camber plates)
You can probably go to -2.4 or -2.5 degrees front camber but it may depend on your actual setup. My shop said I could have gone beyond -2.5 degrees.
RDR plates do not allow for any adjustment of caster but if you have plates that do allow it then you can go for maximum positive setting.
Once you set front camber then set rear camber for one degree less negative using lower adjustable rear control arms. Both front and rear toe can be set to zero or with the settings I mentioned earlier.
One of the reasons I didn't go beyond -2.2 degrees front camber was to make my street driving as normal as possible and not wear my front tires too much which seems to be the case. Driving is a little rougher but not too bad, handling is fine on the street.
One thing I do notice is that high speed handling and cornering is very stable and responsive. The setup works well for street tires and competition tires.
This group buy has now closed. Thank you very much for everyone who joined in and got an amazing deal! Enjoy your new and improved ride. I know I will! Please drop me a line and let me know how your car is handling after the install.
