I wonder how many of us are ebay nuts?
Problem is that ebay is full of nuts. Got to be careful- there are some shady people out there trying to part you from your $$$. Making promises they cannot keep.

Yesterday I was talking to a Magnaflow owner and he really likes his. I listened to it and it sounded great. He claims that for him while driving at 55-70 mph from the interior it sounds like a stock exhaust and he doesn't like the really loud exhausts he has had on other cars. I have the quicksilver and have learned how to control the throttle at those speeds to "tone down" the exhaust note thus approaching the noise level of a stock exhaust. What it takes is a very light throttle. Coasting is loud and burbling and throttle up is loud. Depends also on your rpm and gear which you are in. Kinda fun to play with the sound. Sometimes I turn off all music and motor around listening to the exhaust. It's fun to see what you can do- it's so responsive.

So that was a great price for that auction. retail is $600.
Grrrr!!! for MINIclo

Minihune,
I've been thru a few exhausts....as you know
Both the Magnaflow and the QS...were just to loud and droney for me personally.
I'm settled in w/ the Borla Street and it's just right for my ears

I'm real close to lowering my car....
I think it's my next project....
Next..... I'll move to the interior and prob address stereo sound quality and noise issues..

Peace,
D

I know about your Borla- that is a good match for you. I like the sound of Borla too. It's good we all have choices.

Suspension upgrades- besides just lowering (done by springs (generally least expensive), adjustable shocks or coil overs), think about what you are trying to do. What is the big picture regarding what you want the suspension to do.
I had never lowered a car before. I added H-sport springs/rear control arms and madness rear swaybar to my car.
Handling on corners is great even fantastic but you do have to match it to good wheels -which you have. Some driving skill is good (done at driving school). But beware of the stiff or harsh ride- this is the downside to lowering in my experience. For me, speed bumps kill and rough roads are a no no. Pot holes are death for my rims. It will change the way you drive and maybe change your route of driving as to choose the smoothest roads possible.

Audio upgrades? There is alot to say. Go to the audio topics area on MCO for that.

Peace. And Grrrrr!! for MINIclo

Dennis, That guy has been on eBay a while. He replied about an hour after I bought my Mag, and he was about $50 cheaper, if I recall.

Seemed legit, at the time. If you are buying anything, buy it with a credit card and all is well. Heck, Amex even has price protection (which I just reminded myself of. Hmmm)
