I wouldn't bother with a used valve. Just get this one:

I've tried both turbosmart b0v , the ebay ones and some other name brand like the ebay ones and they ALL lost power. The most effective thing to do is upgrade the spring in the stock divertervalve and I also found the aftermarket k04 turbos NEED a turbosmart wastegate actuator to get the turbo to spool down low enough.. the provided actuator doesn't have enough adjustment...
elps.hope any of that helps.. heres my currentbuild btw.. als0 a 13' jcw...

hey ! Good to know - that sucks to lose power I thought they help with the turbo protecting it a bit but also gaining the nice sound - but not worth it if it loses power -

the turbo wrap in your picture is that a specific part that it’s exactly ? Where do you get that - is it an improvement ? Thank you

ecs, ebay ,amazon ect..sells them.. it's a turbo blanket, I need it because I couldn't run stock heatshield with my ko4 turbo and tubular exhaust manifold.

Actually a bov puts excessive stress on the turbo. Once it blows off ( looses spooling) like between shifts , your turbo has to work that much harder to makeup for that...
our turbos don't function like most turbos , with their internal vacuum operated wastegate it changes things..
