Looking for a really nice set of Sidwewalk seats for my BRG JCW R52. I am located in Tucson, AZ. I have grey/black cloth currently which could be used as trade plus cash if you needed replacements. They have 46K miles on them and are in great shape.
Try looking on car-parts.com for them, but be aware that salvage yards don't always take care of interior components when the car is in their yard. Windows are left down and doors open, the convertible the top could be damaged, all leading to damage to the seats. I saw quite a few this way when I was looking a few years ago. Willmek in Ohio and AllMag in Florida will charge dearly for the set when they get them. There is a set on ebay right now, but the seller is in Lithuania. Good luck with your search. They are awesome! Such an improvement over the dull and hot black leather interior that was in my R52.
Thanks for that Joe - Yea the breaker yards are horrible... there's obviously a few dedicated MINI breakers out there (MINI World, AllMag, Willmek, etc..) but the chances of getting a minty set from a standard breaker yard is basically zero....especially when you consider if you did get lucky enough to find a decent set (and they're willing to ship them), do you expect some greasy finger minimum wage kid is going to pull the seats, palatalize and package them properly? Not likely.
I shoulda just bought the BRG JCW Aero on BaT a few months ago! Instead I'm going to spend more to replicate it! But at least I got a very nice donor car (46K mile JCW).
Nice car and low miles. When I look on Car-part.com I always sort by closest places because I wouldn't trust the part quality enough to ship, especially with something big and delicate like seats. Recently, I found some powerfold mirrors to retrofit to my car on Car-part and after calling the company to confirm they still had them, I drove 2 hours only to find out that they weren't powerfold after all. So it is a crap shoot, but a resource to be used carefully. Good luck! It took me a couple of years of searching to find my set.
Saw that, thanks- but I don't think I could put 210k mile seats in a 46k mile car... But on that note, I may indeed have to buy a whole car just to get the seats!

I hear ya man, it took me 3 years to find replacement seats for my 2000 M Coupé as the selling dealer decided to reupholster them before putting the car up for sale and did a horrible job. Couldn't believe I finally found a set through a friend, and it was well worth the wait. It truly transformed the car. Heck, the current owner just sold on BaT a few days ago for $40k! Wouldn't have ever got that with the crappy original seats.
