Will this fit r53 or i need another adapter?

 

I may not know the exact answer to that, I know the adapter works from 2007-2015 models. I believed is R56-R59 models

 

so tempted. Wish you were local. Just moved here to from cali.

 

Where are you located? I know the shipping from California to the further point on the east coast shipping is around $150.

If you can do it shipped. I might be able to swing that. But i still need to figure out the adapter plates for r53 if this whole retro fit gonna cost over 1k then it’s not worth it.

 

I can do the shipping but like you're saying to figure out the retro fit, check ecstuning.com maybe you can find the right parts for cheaper for the R53.

 

sorry to jump in. but yes R56 adapters will work on r53. they are exact same ones.

 

The R56 skirts look a little nicer and more aggressive than the R53 aero skirts. If you didn’t have flairs on there, you’d have to work a little light bodywork to the front to get the black wheel trim (paint) to line up (R56 just a little wider), but with flairs, probably wouldn’t matter.

So this can be bolted right in?

 

just like the r53 aero sides h need the adapter which are NLA. So the r5) adapters can be used as well as the aero sides. Same way u bolt right up. With clips and all. Same locations

 

Is the R55 & R56 the same length on the side skirts ? Thanks
