Description:

*** Price Drop ***
Nearly new M7 Direct Flow Intercooler (DFIC) with a slightly used M7 Ultimate Scoop (painted Chili Red) for Gen 1 supercharged cars (R52 MCS & R53 MCS).  Price is $650 $525, plus shipping.

Advertised as almost NEW, I purchased this set after seeing it on NAM or MA in December 2013. On arrival, all parts looked un-used with the exception of the hood scoop, which showed minor use.   In summer 2014 I successfully test fit it to my 2006 R52, de-installed it, put it back in the box and forgot about it.  I was working a lot in those days; now I’m not and I’m cleaning out my garage.  I'll have other items for sale in a separate listing.

This sale includes: M7 DFIC, two black silicone boots, air diverter, grill, stainless steel installation hardware, foam seals, M7 hood scoop, installation guide (18 pages, single sided with color photos),  M7 catalog (old), M7 decal.

USA only.  PayPal only.

Nice design but, does the intercooler hit under the bonnet? Thanks

If the instructions are followed completely, no, the bonnet does not touch the I/C. The included instruction guide is very clear on this topic. The OEM hardware that is attached to the underside of the bonnet/scoop needs to be removed as its intended purpose is no longer a part of the new airflow path through the I/C.

Hey I’m located just over in Howell. This still available? $300 picked up no shipping needed.

Thank you for your offer, but that’s a little low for me at this point. I did just lower the price today by $125. And yes, there would be no shipping for a local pick-up or a meeting somewhere between Brighton and Howell.

How is the good scoop different than a stock setup. Focus’ more air like the aftermarket horn ones on eBay?

In the M7 model, the hood scoop directs air straight toward and through the intercooler, where in the stock set-up the air is channeled downward (by means of an under-hood appliance) and then through the intercooler. The M7 hood scoop is shaped a bit like a funnel. I am not familiar with the eBay items you reference.

I was referring to just the scoop... Would you split them up?

The scoop and IC are designed to work together, so selling the scoop separately would make the IC unattractive to prospective buyers. So, no, I am not willing to sell one without the other.
