Hey Everyone,

The last full weekend of September there is a really nice Apple Festival in Gays Mills, WI. It is absolutely beautiful to see all the leaves change color and there are a lot of nice roads up there.

Anyone interested in hooking up and going on Sunday? That is the best day of the festival and they have a parade and a giant flea market also, along with about 10 apple orchards with fresh cider and fresh cider doughnuts all the way.

My little town (Warren, IL) has the Pumpkin Festival the same weekend if anyone is interested in coming out Saturday. It is a small town though, so don't expect much.

I put this on the EIM board also, so we might be able to show up in force if a bunch of us end up going. We are definitely going.

Sounds like a fun time I'm interested. It is difficult to make a commitment at this time however. I've got to admit the roads are fun in that area. This is the first time I have heard of this event. Seems like a great time and area to drive the Minis. If there is a possibility in going I'll get in touch.

 

We are actually thinking about doing Gays Mills on Saturday because some of the Eastern Iowa Minis people are thinking about going.

It would work out great for us either way, but they already have plans for Sunday. Our festival is both days, but nothing compared to Gays Mills.

Once things are figured out, I will definitely post back here.

Did you do the pulley on your car? The puller is on the way from Way right now and I'll be doing mine possibly this weekend. I can't wait.

Any word on going to the Apple Fest? I still considering going there and possibly checking out some roads, even though I don't know many in the area.

 

Unfortunately, we won't be there. There are still a few talking about going.

It is the same time as the Warren Pumpkin Festival (our town) and we are volunteering our time with the PTO and doing games and cleanup, so we have to stick around. There should still be a few going though.
