Excellent choice on all counts. I went from an '03 PS/B MC to a full JCW '06 CR/W w/ white Team Dynamics rims on Michelin Exaltos. The difference is phenomenal, of course. I sure wouldn't mind tooling around in a recent model M3 to find out how the other half lives, but I'll just have to make do.

Car looks great B! I like your choice in wheels and the CF accents. Kind of maks me wish I had gone with Chili Red, although EB has grown on me a bit.

Thanks guys for all the compliments.

Jarid, your GP isn't exactly shabby. A photoshoot would be fun.

The M3 I had was awesome. In a completely different power and driveability category, all around.

It's also in a different cost category all around.

The AC Schnizter CF bits that were on the car (front splitter, rear diffuser, tiny roof "spolier") cost about 4,500 bucks! Plus painting! Having had them on the car when I purchased it used, I found that cost figure out when I let a freind drive the car. He was pulling into a parking spot and went too far, and cracked the dang splitter. $1700.00 alone, from Claus Ettenberger. .

Plus, I'm a bit of a mod nut. Modding the M3 requires a far deeper wallet. I wanted to buy BBS RGR wheels and some nice tires, but again.... $$$$ Not to mention all the other stuff I wanted to do.

The MINI and it's "economy" relative to the M3 is much more suitable to me, to not be a daily driver. In a bit of serendipity, It was sold to an aquaintence of mine who was really ready for it. In fact, he wanted to buy it too, at the time that I bought it. I had happened to put together the purchase before he got around to it, and when he heard it was available again, he jumped at the chance. I didn't even have to place an ad.

Very nice CR/CR JCW!

If I had a ride like that, I don't think that I'd have the willpower to garage it as you did! That MINI is hot and begs to be driven!

Enjoy.

That MINI looks so good sitting still, maybe it should just stay a garage queen!

Nice car. Of course I'm a little partial to CR JCWs.
