I know some of you out there have done this. I searched and could not find the answer I was looking for.

I am wondering with the addition of JCW Software does it throw any codes if you don't have the JCW intake? I'm running a 17% pulley, Dinan intake, Dinan exhaust, Dinan TB, Dinan wires, Dinan boost kit (minus the pulley), JCW injectors, and JCW spark plugs. The reason I ask abou tthe code throwing is that you are missing a whole wiring harness with the absence of intake.

 

Why not do the Dinan software with all your Dinan parts?

Ahh and as of right now they don't have software to write over MINI's. Gotcha...I just would stick with Dinan products to keep their warranty...

 

When I put on JCW software at the end of 2004, I only had a pulley, pulgs, and intake. Didn't notice too much of a difference with the software. Didn't throw any codes.

 

I seem to be running pig rich in the lower RPM's. The JCW software will be a temporary fix. No codes; that's good. I believe I'll get it done, then.
