I am going to add a catted DP and do a dyno tune. With just these two mods, is an aftermarket intercooler worth it? If so, what do you recommend? thanks

I would say that it depends on your use case. Unless you plan on tracking the car and running it hard for longer periods of time, an after market intercooler might not be worth it. The JCW already has a larger intercooler than the S models. You also have additional fluid coolers for better engine heat management.

I also don't think you're gaining much from an aftermarket catted down pipe....

Thanks Nik. I have decided to go catted downpipe as my only mod before the dyno tune, (except for colder plugs). The various changes from the S and the JCW seem to make the necessary upgrades less obvious. I don't know how much boost I can get on pump gas but Iif that's not enough I will go back to it next year when I see what my limitations are.

I was thinking about adding FMIC and DP / Intake after stage 1 tune. Mario tuned my N18 and Abel (Modded Mini tuned close to 15+ cars for JCW racing teams) tuned my F56 JCW both mentioned the gain is minimal may be 10 hp or so and Mario don't sell the 3rd Gen DP since the OEM version is quite efficient. If I need more wheel hp, I would probably go with bigger turbo + LSD with mild tune of stock clutch. That's for me but the wheels are spinning now on the first 2 gears. I need better tires first.
