Error Code P0597 Thermostat Heater Control Circuit/Open
The other morning on my way to work I had the engine light come on. I used a BlueDriver to check for the Error code. The BlueDriver indicated Error code P0597. Thermostat Heater Control Circuit/Open. Has anybody had this issue happen to them ? What could be the issue ? What is the diagnosis ? Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks.
+1 to njaremka, noticed my coolant temps fluctuating quite a bit during normal driving, got a CEL later for that same code. Replaced the thermostat, code went away and never came back
