I want to upgrade my intercooler, and I am considering my options. The one made by Racing Dynamics is not cheap by any means, but it is $400 less than the other options. Does anyone have experience with one of these, or Racing Dynamics in general?

 

What benefits will the upgrade have?

 

Just getting a bigger intercooler won't really add hp, although it will reduce heat soaking which robs hp. As a matter of fact a bigger intercooler can sometimes increase turbo lag and decrease performance. I will also be upgrading the intake and installing a new aluminum charge pipe, which also won't really add very much hp. But, these are some of the mods (along with decat and exhaust) that have to be made before you do a stage 2 tune and crank up the boost. Then you make BIG hp. That is the way.
