Car not detecting new key fob
Hi all,
I bought my Countryman 17 used from a Mercs dealership a month ago.
They sent me a second key yesterday, I assume it’s a new key, as they probably lost the other key. It looks new and still had the plastic BMW wrapping and a new battery. The key has also been cut.
I popped in the battery but my car is not recognising the key. Do I need to register or activate it somehow before using it?
