Oh geez !! I didn’t realize that was the case which is a PITA if I were to be a potentially interested buyer. Oh well I’ll likely sell it on BaT next summer. Absolutely still torn between the JCW checkmate and the R52 which is the last year of the supercharged. Having an e46 ZHP coupe currently I’m almost tempted to just keep the R52 for open top motoring.

What are you talking about?? If 66R hadn't been mistaken about how BaT bidding works, that car might not have even reached $25k

 

I've looked at the comments 3 times now and can't find anything that I'd consider a "shot" at your MINI. Please tell us what you're referring to as the NAM community is typically extremely supportive of its members. BTW, aren't you thrilled somebody accidentally bid $25K for your $20K car? What could you possibly be complaining about (asking seriously)?

 

Looks like a good result on the auction... The buyer thought the bids worked like on eBay (proxy style) which resulted in a 'drop dead bid' ...
Top dollar on the car was your result... I saw nothing in the comments that was derogatory.... and didn't see any 'deleted' either.

Sweet car for sure... and you got to advertise it here in the NAM forums .... rather than in the marketplace... by using the ole 'how much is it worth' or "which one" workaround.

Love your photos and your cars are nice low mile examples.

There are not very many sub-20k R53JCW in that condition out there with those seats. I can guarantee you that.

 

The appropriate place to ask that question is exactly where he asked it: in the comments section of the listing on the auction site where you had the car listed.

 

My point is not the question but the timing when it was asked... question was posed In the last hour. Any way its all good. I am over it and lets move on.

Dear Mountainhorse. I am sorry to offend you .. What you probably do not realize is that there was a specific question asked to which I responded with my post. Now that post has miraculously disappeared but the post said "OP, did BaT accept your JCWs . I heard of late they are rejecting many R52/R53 outside of indy dealers. So there you go hence I responded. Take it for whatever its worth and I hope someone can attest to my statement which is the truth. I only posted one pic of my sidewalk and I have deleted it now.

Noonzio, I am expecting to sell it sometime in the next 4 to 6 weeks. Will finish uploading all pics by this Friday. I will really be sad to send her away as I absolutely love the styling of a R52 sidewalk. On the brighter side, the next MINIAC enjoy this beauty.
