Hi all! Haven't posted in awhile... Good to be back
So a few months back I bought a lightly pre owned 2020 JCW, with the Iconic Package. Considering that, I was surprised to find there were no programmable keys on the under surface of the rearview mirror, as the owner's manual prescribed. Can someone explain this? Is there another method to program garage door and other functions? I will post a picture if that gives anyone an idea of the build.
I've got two more minor issues. There is no ashtray, which is fine. But there is just a plastic plug in the lighter slot. Can the slot be used as a charger, and can I even get a car lighter for the slot?
Also, in the center armrest, there is a spring loaded holder for a cellphone. Is this just a holder, or is it also a wireless charger?

The garage door opener was an option, it was not standard on any of the trims.
You can buy the smokers option pack from the dealer. The ashtray replaces one of the cup holders and the cigarette lighter will replace the plastic plug.
The holder in the arm rest is a wireless charger but it's not big enough for the larger phones. I can verify that it will fit an IPhone 8 or SE without a case.

And it will cook the phone. There is no ventilation in the armrest so the phone will eventually thermal throttle.

 

I just experienced my phone overheating in the wireless charger armrest on a long trip. Now I only use it in short trips(less than an hour.).
