Correct me if I'm mistaken but isn't the "Sales Satisfaction Index" about the experience that the car buyer has/had actually browsing/test driving/negotiating/inquiring about and taking delivery of a new car, rather than how much they like it after owning it afterward? The purchase I made in late April was indeed quite different than my prior 2 Minis in that I was only interested in one model, did not care to drive it, only in the price and how far away it was. Mini of Tempe hit all the buttons and the actual purchase/delivery only too about an hour (I did actually drive it briefly so he could show me how to work the phone and sound system). They didn't even mention financing or insurance, I just wrote them a check and swapped sets of keys and drove off.

Oh I was fine with the dealer's transaction. My point is when the thing says "highest rated brand" that's not what comes to mind at least for me anyway.
