One of the things I hated about my 2019 MINI JCW International Orange Edition was that STUPID Center Armrest.

It does not hold or charge my phone, it is not comfortable, gets in the way of the parking brake handle, makes it hard to operate the I-Drive and to shift the manual.

I had the dealer remove the center console in that car a couple years ago and replace it with a non-armrest laden factory center console.

This past week, I had the dealer change out the center console in my GP3. It make driving the GP3 much more enjoyable.

Part Number 51-16-9-266-622 List Price $116.90. About $150 labor to install.

I highly recommend this modification.

Thanks, I am not a fan of the armrest in the GP either, and the phone charger is useless for me as I like to drive, not talk! Hang up and drive, or at least get out of the way!

If you want the kit to remove the armrest immediately, German Tech Auto Works in Louisville, KY has one in stock. Or, they did as of 2 days ago.
