After adding the NM Exhaust to the 2019 Mini JCW...no clearance problems
After adding the Catted Downpipe from Racing Dynamics I had an issue with the exhaust pipe hitting the CravenSpeed Large Brace when starting and low speeds.
Took the Speed Brace and notched it but still had some "hitting" so I had two spacers made...will be fitting as soon as my longer torque bolts arrive...should solve the issue
Installed and ran a Test and Tune Event last weekend...Cleared the exhaust pipe so NO BANGING NOISE. I ordered some Titanium Torque Bolts from England that were 28mm long since the spacer and Cross Brace are thicker...fit perfectly. You can see the flat spacer I added. I didn't just do washers because I wanted MORE CONTACT for the Brace itself. I also "notched" one side of the brace as added room. Works Great!!!

Isn't that particular brace more for looks/weight as the deflection along the floor is only shear not twisting? The front iSweep brace I got interferes with the factory Cat, I took off the zip ties that were supporting the exhaust and replaced with polyflex hangers, those lasted about 4 month and the Cat's hitting the brace.
How does the new exhaust sound?

Both Braces replace the stock ones...they seen to be stiffer which should help with getting the rear end around. As for the exhaust....The NM Engineering exhaust Sounds GREAT...Looks GREAT...and is lighter than the stock JCW exhaust. It really POPS and BANGS in Sport mode...Pops a bit in Mid Range...pretty mellow in Green Mode
