My wife and I installed the Forge Intercooler this weekend, so glad I had those extra hands in the garage. Anyways when removing the crash foam I didn't see any sensors but the instructions said there should be 2 there. Since we couldn't find them we just proceeded and when we started to put the pieces back together that's when I noticed a temp sensor just hanging. We looked all over and my wife noticed a slot in the drivers side rubber airduct. It looked like a possible place that it could go and it fit. We got everything back together and had no extra screws, which was a first for me. See pic for sensor placement now.

Has anyone else noticed a sensor there? It's been ok driving but it just bugging me if it's in the right place. Anyone have any insight it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Forgot to mention I have a 19' model.

 

That is just for you in car temp reading so not a massive issue if you do not have it in the correct area. But here is a photo of where it mounts too.
