JCW Pro Exhaust Install questions

Hey Everyone,

I am close to pulling the trigger on the JCW Pro exhaust for my 16 JCW. Does it require programming ? Or is it all plug and play, I read conflicting reports on this piece.

Also does anyone know the size of the exhaust outlet pipe on the muffler? I have no interest in spending $500 on exhaust tips and I was looking for some aftermarket options.

I don’t believe it requires any programming. Bluetooth module to control flap is standalone and controlled with a handheld device. You can get the OE chrome tips for the pro exhaust for less than 200. Carbon fiber tips are app. 500.

Had it on my 19 JCWand in the process of retrofitting it to my 2020 JCW.

Not sure the outlet size - do a search. Sure the data are out there.

Do you know if any pipes have to be cut ? Or straight up bolt on?

I don’t believe so. Tips slip right into the tailpipes. I am no expert and have not done it myself so double check with your dealer. I’ve had the system on 3 of my F56s. It’s great.

The tips are held on with a pointed Allen screw from the bottom. They fit tight.

Installed last weekend. No issues, everything bolts right in. Toughest thing was trying to figure out how to take out the fuse box to connect the wiring... and that ended up being somewhat simple as well. Took 3 hrs start to finish, if I had to do it again, it would take 1.5.
