My new HB/W MCS JCW is in!!!
Guess what guys/gals? Yep, you read it right...my new MCS is at the dealer, scheduled for JCW installation the middle of next week, and then I'll be picking it up the Monday after Thanksgiving weekend. I'm so psyched that I'm nervous! Does that make sense? I can't wait to drive it...I hope I'll be able to control myself for the 1250 mile break-in!?!?! I'll post pics as soon as I get to the dealer. Wish me luck...it's my first brand new car. I've had 4 used cars since I started driving approximately 16 years ago.

Congrats, Mini-Ha-Ha! That's great news! I know how you feel. I had vivid dreams for months during the build of my first MINI. And even after I took delivery of her, I still dreamt about MINIs and motoring for months and months. (I still have at least one motoring dream every week!)
You'll make it through the break-in period just fine. Once you sit in your new baby, you'll want to treat him/her right. The very best wishes to you and your new MINI! YAY!

Congratulations. Nice color choices too.
Hope the week goes by quickly for you.
You'll love your brand new Mini.
The Works just adds to the fun and grin factor big time and the break-in will be over before you know it - treat her right and all will be better than you can ever imagine.:smile::smile::smile::smile:
It makes perfect sense to be nervously waiting. A few suggestions to help settle you down:
Name your Mini.
Clean out her space in your garage.
Ordered all the detailing goodies.
Order a Whalen shift ****.
Join a motoring club.
Plan your first run through some twisties.
Never loose your entusiasm.

Thanks to both of you for the encouraging words. I will take extremely good care of my Mini!!! I just can't wait to sit behind the wheel. Since about 2 months ago, when I was certain I was going to purchase my Mini, I've been on Mini sites like this (Motoring File, Cooperspeed, Mini 2, etc) everyday for hours and hours (even at work...don't tell my boss!). Most of the time lurking, cause I couldn't bring myself to sign up for site memberships...I thought I was going to jinx myself in some way?! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed until I pick it up, just to make sure this isn't a dream. I was thinking of naming my car, but wasn't sure. Some names I was thinking of: Mini-HaHa, Paddy (in honor of Paddy Hopkirk), and I'm not sure what else right now. Any suggestions...those are definitely my top ones though. Glad to be a part of this site.
