Alta intake tube

How good is it? Is it better than the silicone hose? Trying to see if I can cut some cost.

I like mine, very well made, easy install and looks good.... I had a silicone setup from FORGE before this one... ditched the forge unit because i didnt like the way the PCV was routed and was gonna be a mess of ugly fittings to run my catch-can setup....
I have noticed more intake noise from it than i did on the forge unit (not that thats a bad thing, lol)

Thanks for reply bro... more intake noise is wanted lol. How did you remove the mass airflow sensor part to intake? I cant seem to get it off plus I dont wanna damage anything. Hey this shop is charging me 600 bucks for installation of jm ici pipe... heatshield... alta inlet hose for turbo and oil change is that to much? I can probably do the heat shield and alta inlet pipe myself to cut some cost

What intake you running? The reason I'm upgrading is leaking and cracked intake tube

If you run the AEM cold air intake, the Alta inlet doesn’t fit exactly right. The bend in the inlet is incorrect. It’s not off by much but it’s annoying to look at and know it’s not quite right. It does the job just fine though. Also, the small port near the turbo can be a bit aggravating to get the rubber hose over it.
