I am looking to place a factory order for a 2018 JCW for use in the great white north - often referred to as Canada.

As for spec, I will be looking at a very nice spec with the Red Roof.

What I am struggling with is color choice. I see most JCW owners are going with Rebel Green, Chili Red and Black to match with the red roof.

Should I spec my car with:
Pepper White
Electric Blue
or
Lapis Luxury Blue

I have a LLB JCW but opted for body color roof. I don’t think the red accents go well with any blue color (or green IMO). It would look much better in white versus the blue colors you are considering.

 

Thanks for the feedback. I just want to get the red roof as that is something that is special and unique for the JCW and gives the car a sportier look.

The other colors offered are not exciting as there are multiple grey's and silvers - also I've had chili red and want something different

 

I feel your pain. Was in your same situation but with a Countryman JCW. Like you I also wanted the Chili Red roof. I originally started with Light White (Pepper white was not available for CM) and then switched to Thunder Grey before settling on Moonwalk grey. In between I also briefly considered Midnight Grey.

To help me decide, I scoured loads of photos on Google, Instagram, etc and I really love the pepper white and red. Just makes the red pop. I agree that the blue doesn't match up well with the red which is why i never considered it.

Its a tough choice and even today I keep wondering if I made the right choice (mine is on order and should be delivered sometime in December).

 

Pepper white looks good with the red roof and mirrors. If you go to this website you can see blue with a red roof. "Clark" the Super Mini.

I ordered an all black JCW back in 2015 after missing out on an all black 2011 R56 JCW at a mini dealer, so I didn’t even consider the classic red roof....just my ignorance! My wife actually likes the idea of a red roof & mirrors so maybe someday I will wrap the roof in red....but I must say I still love the black roof without the sunroof! I’m not sure if I could live long term with the glowing red!

But Pepper White is still one of my favorite colors & I think the red roof looks good with it....you need the JCW bonnet stripes though to break up the expanse of white imo.

Pepper white with the red roof is cool. I also really like the white silver metallic with black also. I would have went that route of pepper white if I had the patience to order and wait but I was given an offer by the dealership I could not pass up when I bought my current JCW.
