Hello guys, added my elite and installed my self about 8 months ago, 4k aprox since on new F60S.
All been going noticeably good until a month ago, not all the elite power was gone when the CEL lights up with this OBD error:
104301: Absolute pressure sensor, Intake manifold, Plausability, Caster: pressure too high.
I had to buy a VEE obd and Bimmer link to fix this ASAp.
It erased my code and all power came back, its been five days and same thing is happening.
Anyone get experience with this as of yet?
Thanks!!!

JJBF60 - Mini Dealer (Dinan Authorized Shop) installed the Dinantronics Elite on my brand new 2018 F54 JCW in June of this year. Ran fine for about a week. Then I started experiencing power loss. This turned out to be a fuel pressure sensor (tuner exposed this). So then, sensor replaced - tuner still in place - and off I went - problem fixed (or so I thought). Then JCW started throwing hard codes - putting the car in a reduced power mode - terrible yuk terrible. Took the car back in and 15 minutes later, dealer reported loose fuel sensor cable. Yay! Back on the road and ran pure for about another week and then (you guessed it) engine codes/ faults again. This time thorough, exhaustive diagnostics with and without the tuner engaged. Problem - Dinantronics Elite. Tried to contact Dinan to determine the problem. Since Dinan moved some or all of their operation (guess they were bought by some other company), it was very (very) difficult to get tech support from Dinan. My final solution - remove the tuner and received full refund.

Still I craved more power so I kept the JCW (love it even without the added Dinan power) and purchased a 2019 BMW M2 Competition!

Very long story but I really tried (as did the dealer/ installer) to make this tuner function correctly. In the end though, that added hp/ torque boost was not worth my automobile's reliability.

Best Wishes with yours.

The Dinan didn't work out, so you pony up $60,000 + for another car. Nice solution. Probably could have saved
some cash by doing an ECU tune. I bet you wanted the BMW anyway.

Dinan performance has been spotty to say the least. Did the Dinan shop put on the correct module for a JCW?

minnie.the moocher... Lighten up. LoL!

The shop used the correct module - specifically designated for the F54 JCW. When it worked, it worked very well. Plenty of pull/ acceleration - wowing those who "thought" they had advantage - GTIs, Honda Civic-R, yadda-yadda...

But even without the Dinan tune, the "stock" JCW is plenty potent.

Evolve tune imo. Plug and play through the OBDII, and got me to 256hp and 296 tq at the wheels. And you can return to the stock ECU for warranty work.

What iOS app are you supposed to use with the Dinan Elite? The “DINAN” app, or the “D-SPORT” app?

I just installed an Elite on my F54 but the app won’t connect to the DINAN app, but the D-SPORT app sees it. Unfortunately the D-SPORT app doesn’t do anything. Can’t select a tune and the boost readout does nothing.

Car doesn’t feel to have any extra power.

** EDIT ** DINAN contacted me and said there’s no Bluetooth on the Elite so you can’t connect to any app.
