Wow, what a great trade up. The F56 is such a great car. But then so was my 2009, just in different ways. Laser Blue to Electric Blue

What do you like better about the F56, more power? I never drove the JCW just the MCS. I'll bet it's sweet.

Many things I like about the F56 over the R56 JCW.

- More power is always good. The 09 JCW was surprisingly quick but the extra 20 ponies are very noticeable. The new engine is soooo much smoother and a welcome.

- Ride is much more refined. Suspension is tight and firm. Not bone jarring firm like my 09 so a welcome relief for my old(ish) bones. Still handles like a Mini.

- lots more gadgetry than fhe 09 JCW. I'm a tech loving guys so this makes me smile 😬 when I'm not busy running through the gears.

- I wasn't sure I'd like the popping in sport mode but it's growing on me. I'd like to have a bit more growl so that will likely be soon to come upgrade.

- The green mode .... wtf is that for.? Won't get much (any) use in all likelihood.

since blue isn't a typical JCW color I'm loving it. I'm all about having it just a bit different than anyone else. I've always had blue Mini's 2008 R56 S 6MT, 2011 R60 All4 S 6MT, 2009 R56 JCW 6MT and this one, 2017 F56 JCW 6MT.

Stellar looking F56 JCW! I love the color & as much as I like Lapis I believe the Electric Blue is nicer looking...the red accents don't seem to clash with the lighter shade of blue. Enjoy!
