Yee HAW... I ordered the CHIPTUNING

I eventually gave in to my More power is Good DNA.

And I ordered the RaceChip TB Ultimate for my 2016 JCW 2 DR HB.

Right off the bat, I will be making a mod to it when I get it. I will modify the harness for it, and cut off any unnecessary length to the harness for a more factory fit.

I have read elsewhere, that most chip harnesses are either too short (for example, like the Dinan one, even though it is not in the same power class as the RaceChip, and cost less, blah blah blah, my point is the harness shortcomings, not the chip itself) or too long like the Racechip.

Whether longer is better , the point is to make it a tidy install either way.

If the harness were too short, I would of extended, but that is not the case.

Cheers

Lightbulb Box Opening Reveal

Got my Chiptuning performance chip in the mail yesterday.

First Impressions: Open Box Reveal (no where does it say for a 2016 JCW) Hmmm.

There should be a copy of the packing slip in the box with the exact model you ordered. It will have the vehicle model on it.

Along with the packing slip there is a another piece of paper with the settings of the Race Chip from the factory.

And yes, I have one. I thought I would do a comparison between the NM Engineering Module and the Race Chip and the only way to do that is to buy one. Full write up to follow.

Give me a H3LL Yeah!!!

I live in the land of Quattro lol. No, I don't own an Audi, but I do live where winter is a four letter word if you don't have 4 full blown winter tires.

So, I will have to wait til Spring Time (April - May).

Cheers!
