30K Service and Maintenance......

I will drive to Seattle for the service appointment next Friday and leave the car for a few days. They have parts to replace and fix rattles. I hope this time, they will have enough of a week to do so.

What should I be aware or ask for at mostly 30K?

Is there any reported issues with the N18 engine, JCW brakes or drivetrain?

I was thinking of selling my Coupe next summer after 3 years but if there is no issues to come, I may keep it until the end of the warranty.

Here's a handy checklist that should help!

That's a beautiful ride, you may want to keep her!

Thanks for your reply but it doesn't answer my question.

What are the common mechanical problems to come with going over 30K and owning a 2013+ JCW?

For example, are they prone to premature brake wear, oil leaks, clutch and/or transmission issues, turbo, ignition or anything else?

30K - it's time for carbon buildup removal. Even if you don't feel any problem it's better not to wait for it.

Where is your information coming from for the N18 engine?

I thought carbon buildup was the N14 engine. How'd you end up with a new 2013 Coupe in 7/14 Dube? I got mine new in 4/14 and it's a 2014 that the dealer got in 7/13.

It was in the the middle of the showroom floor for months with 22 miles on. There was another Coupe on display but an S .... white/black with A/T.

My guess is nobody was interested in a M/T and the extra cost of a JCW.
