Time to make my final decision fora JCW order. Color choice has been my biggest issue as I have history with Minis and want to pick the right combination. Below are my options ... appreciate your inputs:

- Pepper White / Chili Red ... my personal favorite, but no history

- Chili Red / White ... matches the vintage race car I ran for years and is true to the Monte Carlo winning Minis of the 60's ... also matches the flame trim of the 90s

- Rebel Green / White ... matches the WC50 colors and the 1960's racing cars ... also matches the 1990 "Racing Green" special that my wife had and loved ... also is the classic JCW combination

- Rebel Green / Red ... looks great but no history other than looks great

- White Silver / White ... no history, but beautiful combination

Appreciate your inputs ... need to make a final decision soon.

If these are the color combos for you...My vote is pepper white / red combo.

 

You have 2 options with rebel green.

Go with rebel green/white and you have the option to wrap the roof/mirrors later.

 

True ... rebel green looks great with white roof ... WC50 colors.

Chili Red with White also looks great ... MC40 colors

Way too many choices ... a good thing!

 

Just don't do Rebel Green with the Chili Red roof - you'll grow to hate the christmas colors commentary.

But my personal favorite is Pepper White with the Chili Red roof.

 

Down to three:
- Chili Red / White
- Rebel Green / Whiter
- Pepper White / Red

 

Rebel green changes color depth with different lighting. Subtle most of the time, but it is sort of engaging. At times it looks black, others very definitely green, and it an exclusive JCW color. obviously, I am a fan!

 

Actually, leaning toward Rebel Green for emotional reasons. That and it is a great color.

It is a British car (I think) and a proper British sporting car should be BRG, or something similar. Agree!

 

White silver/Red looks great on the Coupe. I almost got that. Don't mean to confuse you though!

 

I like the Rebel Green also, but I really prefer a Black roof with it....you would need JCW bonnet stripes also of course!

 

Final home vote is: Rebel Green / White

 

Now, the wait begins?

 

If you get the roof the same color as the rest of the vehicle, you will always have a perfectly matching color of (i.e. chili red, pepper white etc...)

And you can easily have the roof wrapped any color your heart desires.

But if you get a white roof, as an example on rebel green. You will never be able to get the white roof, wrapped rebel green and match.
