I´m planning to change my entire exhaust system on my B48A JCW engine and I will like to ask if this DP and CB combination will work together.

I don't think so. ECS Tuning's website seems to imply that you need Milltek part F5135 to mate that dp to a us spec catback. Other sites seem to indicate that it is only useful when making a Milltek catback to a US downpipe though.

I will have this Milltek downpipe installed in my JCW tomorrow. The tuning guy says that it will get perfect. Along with that I will also have installed the catback with valve from Remus.

I'm in Brazil and the specs of my car are European.

I have just take a double check to the AWE CB inlet and it seems it also has a lip at the begining, anyone know if there is a V Band clamp there?

+1 the milltek requires that short piece if you have a US spec car and your connection and OEM flange type downpipe. AC Schnitzer has the same thing also. If an exhaust comes only as a straight pipe then it has to mate with the same companies DP. I dont know about the other brands as we dont sell them.

 

It got gorgeous! I got the car early evening today and already drove some miles (kilometers here). It was very clear the power and torque gain and the beautiful roar of the engine. I had no opportunity to take photos of the car in the elevator to show you the DP and the CB installed.
