Very curious about this one as well. Depending on how it all goes, I'd be up to switching out my NM. But I'm also waiting for August to meet up with Team JCW at VIR and see about their module for their race car. They were using the NM module originally and were working on their own power module. Per the rules, the common people have to be able to buy it in order for it to be used on the race car. Just depends on price for sure though. But last fall, talking with the team owner, they were getting just over 300 hp from the 2.0L!

Team JCW/LAP Motorsports has promised several "trickle down" race developed parts for possible sale last year. They said they would offer their exhaust & carbon fiber fender flares but nothing ever came of it.
Ill let u know how the VRtuned set up goes soon.

Their website doesn't imbue a lot of confidence. In one place they claim 31hp increase and in the chart under that it claims 50hp. 5-45 minute installation? Quite a spread there. Zero reviews on the Mini application. I'm not saying I wouldn't switch from my NM, but I'm gonna need to see some concrete proof of power and reliability. Before I ended up with the NM there was a lot of evidence, including dyno sheets showing the power gains and enough people running them to get a good idea of their reliability. At $800 I'm not gonna be the guinea pig.

Looks like some nice kit! I'm looking forward to your impressions. As well as install ease or difficulty. Especially since this kit touches on so many areas where as the NM mainly lets the ECU control stuff. Would be great to see a dyno of this on the JCW to compare it to the one I did with the NM.
Their website is very confusing on the results. For the Cooper S, first they say 40% MORE power, but then say it will give 53 more horsepower at the crank since they list standard 192hp with gains up to 245 hp which is not 40% more, that would be 76.8 hp. Then they say in the graph 192 stock, modded is 245hp with gains of 65 hp. This math doesn't add up.

Anyhow my JCW is equipped with Chrono gauge option so it will be interesting to see the difference in boost pressure.
Currently i never see more than .5 bar of boost.

Switch to manual (in sport mode) and shift at or near red line and you'll hit 1 bar

You should see more than that. My car, with the JCW tuning kit and NM module has shown me 1.18 bar (17psi) according to my ScanGauge II. These readings come off the OBD II connection just like the Chrono Pak.
