JCW Anyone running a VRTuned ECU set up?
I have a new one to add Dinan has come out with a piggy back box for the gen 3 mini's. I have been testing the first one for about 6 weeks. I think it is really hard to quntify performance on the street. I run a monthly Autocross with the local BMW club in northern California. The results speak for them self. We run a 2014 Mini F56 hardtop in A class. In May we finished 6th and 9th place. In June we added the Dinan unit and finished 1st and 6th.

The VR tuned box is way more sophisticated than the other boost raising tunes.
The VR tuned box has 4 different sensors the modify/tune over the factory set-up.
They are as follows:
1.Camshaft sensor 2. manifold air pressure sensor, 3. throttle valve sensor switch and lastly Boost pressure sensor.
Along with the VR box witch contains fuel mapping.

Hi JetM,
no not yet. The AWE Sflo intake has yet been delayed again!!!!!.:
I need to get that installed then will get it dynoed.
One thing I can tell you that I have noticed is the JCW will spin the front wheels easily (without even applying full throttle) if the road is damp.
It would not do that before. Also there is more torque steer now under full throttle.
