First time posting but used to frequent this forum often when I had my 05 S. Ended up getting a volvo thats been a nightmare so finally moving on. Found a 05 JCW on craigslist with 77,xxx miles for 8600. Seems maybe too good to be true.

My 05 R53 was pretty much reliable except for 2 failed power steering pumps and a o2 sensor issue. Drove without power steering for the last year I had it and didnt really mind. Am I looking at a lot of repairs on this 05 JCW? I know the JCW package was a add on and not a separate model at the time.

Anyway thanks in advance if anyone could shed some light on this.

 

Look carefully....
It might be a "S" with a couple JCW parts bolted on...many folks do this to try too sell a car for more $$.
Price seems slightly high...maybe by $1000-1500 if a full JCW in near perfect shape with records imo...but we have lots of MINI's in the northeastern US....
