thats brilliant !!

I love the new 991 been saving for a used carrera 4s be another year before I grab as prices and dollars currency is weak, I hear the new turbo's can dry out your eyes fast ?

I'm 99% on closing a deal for the 2016 JCW - got a crazy price for it !

Placed order today, 1st Mini!!

Super stoked for my first Mini, now I just have to wait the 6-8 weeks for delivery. Hoping for sooner...expecting longer.

2016 JCW F56
Midnight Black w/ Chili Red Roof
17" Black Wheels /w all season tires
Cold Weather
Premium Pack
Wired and Wired Upgrade (with driving assistant, not park assist)
Rear Fog
LED with cornering lights
Auto Dimming and Powerfold mirrors
Sunroof
Roof Rails
Sport seat with Leather Dinamica Red
Glowing Red color line
Black checkered dash
Mini Excitement page
6-Speed Auto - wife cant drive manual :(
Dynamic Damper Control
Sirius and Alarm System
All Weather Floor Mats

Needless to say, I am super excited! Keeping my Tacoma...but parking will be a whole lot easier in the city in about 10 weeks. Greatly considered Golf GTI and R...but had to go Mini, love the customization that you can do. Motor On!!!!

Done, for now....

2016 JCW build thread - The Red Baron-image-420894221.jpg

H&R springs and ecs spacers
I was going for 18" rims but i like the way the 17" look with the spacers now.
Will definetly go with 225 when need for new tires.

Looks very nice! I think the choice in wheels depends on several things & of course personal preference. I prefer the larger diameter wheels on the F56, plus my car is black & I'm not a fan of "everything being blacked out", so I was left with only 2 choices: 17" silver track spokes or 18" two-tone cup spokes....I went with the 18"s & I'm glad I did, since the 17"s in silver just looked small!

That being said, I admit the 17" black spokes do look nice on certain cars.

I wish MINI had more wheel options for the JCW, but we do with what is available huh?

The 225's are a good idea...anxious to see how those work out.

John

I'd like to see a close-up pic of how the wheels look pushed away from the front Brembos. Does it still look like a custom wheel fit or is the gap really "wide" now?

Yea I have them on the R58 JCW in 15 square. Had 25mm on the R52 also. Yes, there will be no vibrations or anything. Also like the black bolts for a perfect match to the wheel.

Great the 20mm worked for you all around.

Very nice, looks great. Now you can also clean the caliper easier. Do you have an Instagram account that's posted on ?

It has to be easier to clean the Brembos...LOL! Impossible to get in there with stock setup!..especially the cup spokes.

I love the R129 19"....that was the cup spoke wheel I thought I was getting on my JCW....I didn't know any different back before any JCW's were available to see on dealer lots (and anywhere really). I much prefer the "open" spoke design...would show off the Brembos MUCH better! That's a gorgeous wheel!...but not for the JCW hatch.
