Not sure how long the pad life is on a race pad.
Interestingly, the pads for my Wilwoods cost about the same as the rotors...
My last time out I ran the Hawk blues on the rear with the Wilwood Poly H race pad up front and, at first, the Hawks sounded like I had installed a set of bastard cut metal files in the rear. But when they had a few laps on them, they settled down and worked quite well. The Hawks did generate more heat than the Carbotech XP8s did. So they appeared to have taken up a larger share of the braking than I had with the Carbotechs. No tail wag either...
