I recently met a friend that owns a 2002 MCS with a JCW kit installed. The vehicle was purchased from Mini of Las Vegas new. I have called MiniUSA and Mini of Las Vegas and no one can seem to find the records regarding this car. I also understand that there were no factory JCW until after 2005-ish. So this would have been a dealer installed option. His JCW serial number is what is most curious to me as it is serialed #1001. I know some organizations start their serialization at 1001 and some start at other random numbers, but I'd like to know if anyone know of a JCW that has a smaller number than this? Thanks guys.
