Clear Car Bra?

Anyone know of a vendor that sell a clear car bra for the 2015+ JCW? The autobahn speeds here in Germany just eat up the fronts of cars. I'd like to install one as soon as I pick mine up (sometime this summer). Any help would be appreciate. Thanks.

It all depends on market and who you trust as an installer. I think you can ask your dealership to install for you, or you can seek out a private shop to do the work. Probably many more than you think out there, just need some determination to find the right place

I have had a clear bra on our R53 since day one and no rock chips whatsoever. On long road trips I add a leather nose mask for further protection. MINIs frontal area are road rash magnets. Ask yourself, would you pay asking price for a MINI buying it used if the front end was marred with rock chips? Walk past a MINI with a peppered bonnet and take note. If you plan to keep your MINI and keep it as pristine as possible, the answer is simple. Good luck.

Thats what i am talking about. I don't want my Mini to end up looking like it's been peppered with buckshot.

I agree.

My 2002 R53 was in the initial allocation of customer spec cars. Back then there wasn't much of choice for clear bra kits. I found a shop that did custom clear bra installation for high end cars and had them make and install a kit. For more details on my experience ...

That's good to hear. A paint protection film will definitely be my first mod.

I have the full front XPEL protection. Expensive but well worth it IMO.
