I have had Lucy for a week (pics in Garage) and have been wondering about front JCW logo. I had driving lights installed, and I know they replaced the grill as part of that. Is the JCW logo removable? Could they have transferred it?

I was thinking of buying the JCW grill logo from OutMotoring, does anyone have any experience with this?

You really need to go back and make them give you the badge they took off. They are not cheap and if they weren't going to put it on your new grill you should have at least got it.

 

It's not hard to remove the badge. When I removed my grill to plasti-dip, it looks like it just clips onto the grill but I may be wrong. You shoulda ask them for the old grill also since you paid for a new one for the driving lights. Whatever parts they replace should go back to you.

 

Their installation guide probably tells them to remove it. I remember back in the 1st gen days, MINI said you could only have 2 grill badges because they were concerned about blocking the radiator. If you had driving lights, they said no grill badges, I believe. I don't think I've ever seen a thread where someone with more than the recommended badges had any problems, though.

I'd ask them for the badge back and mount it on the lower grill if you're worried about heat.

 

I have factory installed driving lights. The badge is on the front grill.
