I'm wanting to add the diffuser kit to my 2008 S with aero rear bumper. I'm pricing parts through the dealer and they are telling me the bracket #9 in the RealOEM diagrams will not fit a pre-LCI, Pre-2011, car. All the online vendors say no problem. I know there are some Pre-LCI cars with the diffuser kit installed. Has anyone encountered any problems? Thanks!

Dealer is a retard, bracket #9 will fit. I have pre-LCI, 2010 MCS and the #9 brackets utilize the same hole that the exhaust hangers use, so they're dumb to say they won't fit.

 

We've sold several GP diffuser kits and they've all fit, no reason it wouldn't.

 

I've done the install myself and it fits fine! The absolute only thing you will run into is that we are missing a bumper bracket on the drivers-side and it is NOT important.
