F56 wheel bearings on R53??

I'm looking at upgrading my brakes and also gettting a new set of rims at the same time. I'm interested in putting 5 lug F56 wheel bearings, rims, rotors, and brakes all on at the same time but not sure if the F56 wheel bearings will fit on an R53. Does anyone know if this is possible? I don't want to use 5 lug spacer adapters like others I've read about doing to accomplish this.

I would be highly skeptical that the F56 bearings and hubs would bolt right up to an R53

In fact, I'd bet quite a bit of money there is zero mechanical compatibility.

And, that would be just to fit the hubs and bearings, not taking into account the brake rotors and calipers fitting....

Thank you for your input njaremka. Since was already going to upgrade to a big brake kit and putting on a new set of rims at same time, thought why not just put on new wheel bearings also so can put on a 5 lug rims and rotors so all 4 corners have a different look. Thought would make an interesting project since I'm overhauling the car any way. I just hate the idea of using 5 lug to 4 lug spacer converters to accomplish this. Seems unsafe.

Your ABS and DSC will be out of wack...the R53 wheel bearing has a mark which is read for rotational data to support the TPMS and ABS sensor....they are mated to the system....

F56 is a completely different animal...you might look at R60 wheel bearing...might be the closest thing in 5 bolt. The axle spline pattern is different between R53 and 56/60, but you might be able to get custom axles made. Rear, if they fit won't be a problem.
Doesn't solve the brakes, but there are a lot of big brake kits available since R60 and F56 have different bolt patterns. R60 uses conventional BMW 5x120 and you may be able to fit the 135/Mini GP brake setup on the car. No idea if it is easy, but it can be done.

ONLY TAKES TIME AND $$$$

I think he could do a BMW 5 lug conversion too....former member here had that on his R53 so he could run their 5 lug wheels....Guys in BMW forums ditch their nice oem wheels cheap as if they were the original silver MINI crown spokes !.
