Ordered a JCW-Planned mods

I've got a white silver JCW cooper with a chili red roof on order. Here's what I have planned so far, feel free to add.

GP rear diffuser
Black Trim around front grill
Vinyl tape to black-out beltline chrome trim
De-badge
Euro fender flares/ reflector delete
Stubby Antenna

I also want to pick up a set of winter wheels, and from what I can see I'll have to go 17 inch to clear the brakes. Also I was waiting until I saw the car before ordering it, but if the 13 JCW still has the intake muffler by the intercooler I'm going to ditch that. I want to do something about the rest of the chrome too.

Welcome aboard! I'm rather new here too. My JCW is being built and hopefully should be done this week. I've got a few mods, thought out already also. Cold air intake, different exhaust and a short shifter. The euro fender flares sounds like a good idea.

Tell me more about the intake muffler, what's up with that?
Post a picture of what your new JCW's going to look like or in your signature line. Its fun to see what everyone's new MINI is going to look like and follow along through the process.

Cheers!

Ahh, okay, saw something similiar to this here: http://www.madnessmotorworks.com/mad...lete-pipe.aspx

The boost tube seems to make more sense, two fewer connections and uses better material than the OEM tube.

Same concept, I'd probably go with the hose. Seems like an easier install and no need for a bracket.

Cheaper also, looks like I'll get that myself. Thanks for the info BTW!

Take a look into the AEM intake. Great gains have recently been posted (~21+hp) on the JCW. I love mine. Great looking. Great quality and not too obnoxious sounding.

One of the best things you can do is get a tune for your car (if you are looking for performance gains). I suggest the Evolve-R tune, try to find an Alta AcessPort (Alta no longer makes them, but people still want them), or if you have an N18 engine then I have heard good things about the NM tune. May be worth checking out.

I too have a JCW GP coming and here are the mods we are doing:
Akrapovic DP
Akrapovic Exhaust
Forge IC
NM discharge pipe
NM torque arm bushing
Craven SS
NM shift box cover
Hsport Comp sway bar
Hsport camber links
light in sight
Custom GP floor mats
steering wheel and cruise control conversion
WMW short antenna

I would skip the alta parts as they don't fit well at all. and the Accessport does not work on the 2013 cars.

Accessport wont work on a N18 engine.
