Dual Catch Cans Setup Advice

Hello,

I have a 2010 JCW S and have looked into setting up a catch oil catch can to minimize blow by debris. Is there a way and or a need to have dual cans.
Driver side set up for Can one
and
Can Two
Passengers side with PCV Valve.

Is it possible to have two set ups here? Is it even needed.

Looking at BSH catch cans. I now have read that PCV valve with dual boost valve can eliminate the need for two cans?

Would this be a better idea or should i let the PCV valve have its own catch can system on the passenger side? What would be the pros and cons?

Current mods are ALTA Intake, ALTA inlet pipe, ALTA BOV spring, M7 Heatshield Engine mods

Sure it's possible.

Correct, the boost tap plug mounts to the passenger side PCV port, allowing all vapor to be pulled out of the driver side port.

With two catch cans, it requires double mounting and more piping / plumbing.
Plus, why would an owner want to maintain two catch cans, when one with a port plug does the same?

Sounds about what I was thinking and through research. Figured one can was easier and a heck of a lot cheaper too with the BSH Boost tap. I ordered it all last night going to give it a go. Just wasn't sure if it would catch better with the PCV still open or if it was better for the engine. It appears that there really doesn't make a difference and from all the other mini owners appear to just have one can with boost tap or plug.

Thanks for the info. Saved me $160 on a second can and kept my engine bay more tidy.
