JCW will dealer do spark plugs when getting N/C oil change with those with stage 1 kit?

will dealer do spark plugs when getting N/C oil change with those with stage 1 kit?

I have a 2009 JCW stage 1 MCS conv. Have gotten a about 6 oil changes, two free under free scheduled maintenance plan, and I paid for the other 4. I am not going to go 18k miles between oil changes, I go about 5k miles max.

It is my understanding that for those of us with the stage 1 kits, that every other oil change, we should get new spark plugs. These should be covered under the free scheduled maintenance plan right? Anyone done this with there dealer. I have 30k miles on my car, and am taking it in for a scheduled service in 2 days. Getting an oil change, brakes, including rotors I think at no charge under the scheduled maintenance plan, and new (under warranty) front fender arches. They are permanently stained from the oil that has dripped from under the hood, and my dealer said they would put new ones on under warranty.

I am curious about the spark plug thing also, as it is clearly spelled out in the install guide that it is a requirement for those with JCW tuning kits.

Let us know if you have any luck with that, I'm sure someone here more knowledgeable than me may be able to chime in with more info.

What is the cost of the spark plugs if you have to pay out of pocket?

I have no idea of the cost. Taking my car in tomorrow and will find out if it is covered or not.

According to my dealer, only services called for by the OBC count. So you should get new spark plugs every other time your OBC says its time for an oil change. The ones you paid for in between don't count.
