I didn't want a black car, or I would have gotten black with red top and mirrors. That is nice because it is a special JCW color combo. My official answer then is Laser Blue with black roof and mirrors.

Seriously though I spent a couple days looking through the various picture threads on this site. The colors on the MINI build site are not a very good representation. It helped me to see pictures of real cars.

 

I love the red top and mirrors(combo JWC) so my choice was easier. My first thought was Black with red top and mirrors. Black looks great spankin' clean--but oh the rest of the time, ugh. Also, the black with red seems the most popular choice. I went with Pepper White with red top and mirrors-no sunroof. My last MINI (05 MCS) BUD was Chili Red with white top--no sunroof. Like a Bud beer can. Always liked PW so now I will have a kind of the opposite look on BUD 2. Due in Brunswick, GA on June 7!! Get the color/combo that works for you. Nick

 

Another vote for Laser Blue but I would get the matching top and mirrors. I think MINIs look better in a solid color.

thanks i love the blue to and it looks good with checkered mirrors too but we will see its between blue and black with red top now 15 days to go. im getting so much crap for getting a jcw for my 1st car.

My 2¢ - I vote Pepper White. It's classic, timeless, and looks great with black, red, or PW roof. I think it would be great in Pepper White, Red roof and checkered mirror caps. Good Luck! Get what you love...love what you get.

 

CR with the black roof, mirrors, and black stripes. (Its the natural choice)
Black wheels if you can get them.

it's not on the options but, i love my jcw chilli red with black, i had a black car and you can't keep it clean much time jajaj

 

I've yet to have anyone say they don't like this color combo and if they did I wouldn't be offended either because we have our preferences. Also, having come from an all Astro Black prior, this is a god send to keep clean.

 

Another vote for Chili Red.

Color choice is a very individual opinion. But IMHO, CR is the best color for the current JCW, especially with the red stitching on the steering wheel, shift boot, ebrake, and red pattern on shift ****.

Saw one yesterday on the showroom floor, and just looks perfect.

 

I have never seen the green / red combo before, it looks stunning.

I ordered Pepper white with black roof & sunroof. I added all the JCW carbon bits and no stripes....

 

All black, all dark colors are hard to keep clean so it might as well be
black. My R58 JCW is with no chrome at all!

I agree with Chuck - You need to see the color in person. Your monitor display is not the same.

I would definitely go with the upgraded HK sounds. It's not an expensive option (imho).

But definitely go to the dealer, check every color and combination you can, it's the best way to choose your favorite color.

About the HK, it sounds nice, I love mine, but I think with that money you can also get nice aftermarket audio.

I have the same issues with black. Looks great on the dealer's lot or after just detailed...but 1 minute after near proximity of a lawn blower it looks horrid.

Really wanted to love Reef Blue, but wasn't blown away when I saw it in person. Same with Iced Brown.

I would have loved to duplicate my Hyper blue, but no blues currently offered got me excited. So, I'm taking a big risk...silver white with the gray my mini interior, black convertible top, cross spoke wheels & mirrors , custom sport strip in JCW colors going all the way down the nose.

Will either look epic...or awful! (fingers crossed for the latter!)

Car color is a very personal matter. So, here's what I think: the laser blue reminds me too much of a Subaru. PW is a great color, but the most common color you will see in a MINI. Mine is Chile Red, black roof/mirrors black/red viper stripes, black OEM wheels. Looks awesome when it's clean.

 

I agree, I have Chile Red, black roof, black rims, black stripes, blackout trim, blackout taillights tinted headlights....looks mean as hell when it's clean. Def not cop friendly.

Went with BRG with black top and mirrors. Chrome line interior, and H/K sound system---that's it. After a 2011, and 2012 Clubman S's, my first JCW.

Thanks to the tech help from my granddaughter I'm able to post a much better picture of my BRG JCW. At 73 years young, this was on my bucket list, and it has been worth the wait. It's a blast to drive!!
