GP wheels to fit over JCW brakes?

Searched and could not find anything to confirm if the mini GP wheels would fit over the JCW brakes.

The only pic i found was a spy shot of the factory JCW from a couple years back. Looks like the early factory JCW was using the GP wheels during testing.

Anyone out there ever put these wheels on there JCW?

The GPs have JCW brakes, so yes! Here's a better pic ...

NO NO NO they will not fit, as I owned a GP and a 09 and 2010 JCW at the same time I did try to swap the GP wheels over the the JCW and the wheel hits the caliper. You would need a 5mm spacer to fit with no issues. I am refering to new JCW/Brembo brakes.

5mm spacer

How will the 5mm spacer affect the car and studs...??? I wanted to get a set of 18" GP style wheels from a company on ebay that make replicas for my 09 FJCW
Thanks.

GPs don't have the same brakes as the new JCWs. The new brakes are MUCH bigger. Just get the longer bolts if you get a spacer kit and you'll be fine.

Got a JCW at the shop with 15mm spacers and GP wheels and it is just right on.
