Did anyone installed this wing on their car?

I think this wing looks so much better with black base and black mounts. I have a Dark Silver R56S with Black Roof and Black Stripes along with the JCW Body Kit. Would anyone have a picture of a car like mine but with this wing on? I can't seem to find such pic on this forum! Please post it here if you have a pic like that! Thanks!

Akng, I didn't know that the JCW wing came with the black base and mounts.... very nice!! I have a CR cooper with black roof and stripes and was planning to buy a JCW wing soon --- I may just get this.

If you want an understated look for your black-roof mini, then this is the way to go.

 

Yeah, apparently, the dealer I talked to said they are relatively new. Most places in North America likely won't have them in stock since not very many knew about them for some reason, hence they will have to place a special order to Germany if you want them!

Gotcha... have you made up your mind on the silver vs black base wing?

 

No not yet! Well, I am still saving up for it and won't have enough until August or so, so I still have time!

But as far as the color goes, the silver mounts one is what they have on the JCW catalogue and on the Challenge Edition in Australia, and they will probably go better since I have the R112 Challenge wheels. But on the other hand, the black mounts one do look sooooo hot and it totally moves my heart every time I see the picture!

So I really dunno yet...

 

I'm pretty much prepared to pull the trigger on the wing, but I'm torn between the silver or black. On one hand, I want to get the silver so the wing stands out and provides some contrast to the roof --- but just like you... whenever I see the all-black wing............................ it just looks so bad-a** !!

I think I have decided to get the wing with black base and silver mounts!

Now I will just have to save up enough to get it!

 

I just ordered the JCW Spoiler with Black Base and Silver Mounts today! I will have it installed on July 26th!

 

I have the JCW spoiler with blk base and blk mounts!! I like the fact that its all Black!! Love it!! I purchased it from the UK with no problems!! from Minigenuineparts! great customer service and they packed the spoiler very safe!!

 

This wing looks so much nicer on yellow than with silver mounts! I once saw a yellow one with the silver mounts wing, it just look totally wrong!

 

Have you had any vibration problems with this new wing? I've heard that some have had this problem with the carbon fibre wing.

 

I like this in all black. I might have to add this to my ever growing "wish list".
